About the role:
Because we work on the cutting edge of many technologies, we need someone who is a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and productive working independently or collaboratively. This person would also take on the following responsibilities:
Process huge amount of unstructured data (billions of events per day) into a form suitable for analysis – and then do the analysis.
Work closely with our engineering and data science teams to integrate innovations and algorithms into our production systems.
Design and build new data etl processes to work with multiple data sources

Qualifications:
B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or similar
Proven in depth experience in Java development (at least 5 years of experience)
Experience with high scale, high performance, multithreading enterprise environment
A solid understanding of database design experience with relational and at least one NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Casandra etc.)
Proven experience Linux environment.
Advantages:
Experience in one of the data mining tools – Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto and Pig – Big Advantage!
Writing and optimizing ETL Processes
Familiar with the online advertising eco system
Additional programing languages (Python is a big plus)
We use AWS extensively, so experience with EC2, S3, EMR and other web services will help you hit the ground running.
