We are looking for a Algorithms Engineer to develop new ways for insight extraction from unique data sets, and to shape product technologies and roadmap.
Your Day:
● Think! Really think.
● Ask the right questions; develop new ways of conducting experiments / collecting data / analyzing data that lead to the right answer; use whatever tools are right for the task.
● Work on a variety of problems, in a variety of products, with multiple technologies and different learning techniques.
● Collaborate with researchers from other groups.
● Play detective: given product performance data, cluster, rank, score, classify, visualize, infer rules, or whatever else to come up with insights that help improve the product metrics by 2x.
● Read, learn, and then suggest and prove new learning techniques for each product.

● M.Sc/Ph.D in CS, Math, or equivalent.
● 5-6 years industry experience in Machine Learning & algorithms development.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you are open and fun to work with.
● Fluent in the Hadoop ecosystem, R/DataTables, and the Python data science ecosystem.
● Deep understanding of systems you have previously worked on.
● We wouldn’t be surprised if you like riddles, have participated in Kaggle competitions or Google Code Jam, and have a list of technical articles to “read when you have the time”.
